It received critical success at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival and was invited to tour across Los Angeles with pop-up performances through May 2027. About Me

Nicole Ohara is a mixed Japanese-American actor, producer, and writer.

She is on a mission to build a body of work that takes people on a journey of self-discovery and awareness. We all hurt, we all love, we all laugh, we all cry. By exploring the humanity in all of us, Nicole hopes to create art that brings us one step closer to healing.

She trained at the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio Conservatory under Nike Dukas, Ron Burras, Bruce Katzman, Miguel Perez, Jane Fleiss, Rob Nagle, and Dayo Ade. Her notable acting credits include: California Skate, Four Hands Two Sonatas on Netflix, Moving on Hulu, Small and Mighty on Disney+, Love Deadline on Netflix, Snowdrop on Disney+, and Found Family (Winner: Paris Film Festival Best LGBTQ). She was awarded Best Young Actress at the 2026 LA Theatre Bites Awards for her role as Lady Havilland in the original play, Hold That Thought While I Scream by Barrett DeYoung.

As a producer, she has experience both on stage and in film, including The Seagull (dir. Bruce Katzman, starring Sasha Alexander at the Odyssey Theatre); Orion and the Dark (Netflix - Top 10); All the Beauty and the Bloodshed (Oscar Nominee Best Documentary); Gummy Worm (Best Comedy Nominee, Encore Producers' Award Winner). Ashes: Hai Iro No Yuki, a short film she wrote, starred in, and executive produced, premiered at the 2026 Oscar-qualifying LA International Shorts Fest and was an official selection of the 2026 Chelsea Film Festival. Nicole is also the founder and Executive Producer of Street Rat Media, a multi-media company focusing on films, television, and theatre.
